How We Do It

During the fall of each year, a few of the Alumni Chorus members (who live in the area of Florida College) get together and assemble a “long” list of possible songs to be recorded the following February. Several members from the local area meet twice a month and practice what has been chosen. By the end of November the final list of songs is determined. A quartet is formed to record each song selected. The resulting CD is shipped to those who have expressed interest in being a part of the Alumni Chorus for that year.

At the end of the Bible Lecture Series at Florida College (the first full week of February) the chorus meets and practices all day Friday. On Saturday the recording is made, and the final product for that year is published by early summer.

For 2006, our objective is to publish the CD’s within 6 weeks after recording.
